Nice - Rue Colonna d'Istria

Vieux Nice. The first church (with the bell tower and the dome) is the Sainte Reparate. I will be living nextdoor to the dome for a month or so.

Here you can see the cathedral from another angle. In the back the quarter I will be living as from September 1^st.

This is the street I will be living in from August 1^st until August 31^st.

I love old towns, especially Vieux Nice.

We're almost there.

There's the Saint Reparate's backside. Almost home!

After the cold war Prince Valerian Obolensky was invited by Anatoli Sobchak, mayor of St. Petersburg and Russian candidate of presidency, to come to his beautiful city. Sobchak offered the Prince, on behalf of the Russian Republic, his most sincere excuses for everything the Russian nation had done to the Russian nobility since 1917.

Recently Prince Valerian Obolensky started a new project: Russian Aristocracy Online - a genealogy website of the Russian aristocracy.
