Dear N=1,
Thank you very much for linking to my blog. I think it's very
important to have a dialogue between moderate people from both
sides. What we have seen recently is that extremists have taken
over the protests in the Muslim street and turned them into blind
violence. This should stop. A civilized debate like the one going
on at blogs is what we need. It proves, once again, that the
blogs are a powerful source of alternative news in today's
world.
Thank you so much once again.
Peace,
Ayman
Jullie aanbevelingen maken hem zichtbaar in Nederland!

Goede actie!

Inspiratie!

:)

Dear Nico,
I think that your idea sounds excellent in principle.. and I am more than willing (and extremely happy) to be part of an ongoing dialogs between cultures especially that I consider myself belonging to both ends of this issue at the same time...
I just wanted to know more from you about what your thoughts are about this possible collaboration.. how, and by what means.. and how can we do our parts in this issue... because with some great goal like this, it is very important that we know what we want to do, other than just ranting on weblogs among each other....
can you please expand on your idea? and I would be more than happy to offer my technical knowledge as a multimedia programmer to help in this cause.
regards
Omar
Dear Omar,
Thanks for your quick reply.
The basic idea of this blogburst is to provide citizens from 'my world' as well as those from 'your worlds' who are curious to find out what 'the other side' thinks with one big listing of all people interested in participating. People who also believe that the most important lesson that we must learn from this mess is that we should try and communicate with each other respectfully, because obvioulsy our leaders cannot...
I had to do some serious surfing and googling before I found your blog and your postings. By making it easier for everyone involved to find a willing an apropriate partner to talk with, I believe we can engage much more people in this dialogue.
I agree with you that blog-discussions sometimes tend to end in shouting matches. That is the reason why I feel that fater an initial contact has been made through the blog, sensitive conversations that are not helped by many people shouting comments at it, should maybe be carried out by private email...
I hope this helps explain my idea.
Do you mind if I would already put a link to your log on the page with interested participants?
Peace,
Nico

Thank you for your two e-mails and for the invitation.
Sure I would like to be part of this.
Some Syrian students wrote a letter and they are sending it by e-mails and mails to Danish Embassies in UK, Canada and some other countries, as well as to Danish English newspapers.
I will copy it below and since you are a Dane, them , it's yours :)
Let me know what should I do?
Salam (peace)
Ihsan

Thank you N1 and Omar for posting these messages. There are so many people everywhere in this world who do seek possibilities to communicate with eachother. Let's join together, let's seek other soulmates, let's say in Iraq and in Israel!
